The Uxbridge Historical Centre is committed to making its spaces and services available to all visitors

The main entrance to the UHC (Kydd House) is accessible with a ramp around the side of the building and automatic door openers

All buildings on the UHC site are accessible with ramps or unobstructed, step free entrances

All buildings, with the exception of the Nesbitt Shed, are accessible by paved pathways

Accessible parking is available in the main parking lot located in front of the Kydd House and in the smaller lot located between the Lodge Hall and Quaker Schoolhouse

A wheelchair accessible bathroom is located in the Kydd House inside the accessible entrance

Service animals are welcome. Visitors with non-traditional service animals are asked to contact the UHC before their visit

A wheelchair is available upon request at the reception desk for visitor use, free of charge
Paved pathways and parking lots are generously supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Canada’s Enabling Accessibility Fund.
