Accessibility

The Uxbridge Historical Centre is committed to making its spaces and services available to all visitors

  • The main entrance to the UHC (Kydd House) is accessible with a ramp around the side of the building and automatic door openers

  • All buildings on the UHC site are accessible with ramps or unobstructed, step free entrances

  • All buildings, with the exception of the Nesbitt Shed, are accessible by paved pathways

  • Accessible parking is available in the main parking lot located in front of the Kydd House and in the smaller lot located between the Lodge Hall and Quaker Schoolhouse

  • A wheelchair accessible bathroom is located in the Kydd House inside the accessible entrance

  • Service animals are welcome. Visitors with non-traditional service animals are asked to contact the UHC before their visit

  • A wheelchair is available upon request at the reception desk for visitor use, free of charge
